NOT YOUR TYPICAL BLOG…

Let me begin by stating that this is not an ordinary blog. There will not be any sort of scheduled posts and the context will cover a broad range of ideas, stories, events, characters, etc.

There is so much more to lulu’s than meets the eye, literally and figuratively. At any given time there’s probably 50 fires that need to be put out, 350 boxes that need to be unpacked, 6 events happening simultaneously, Hungry Man, (our delivery guy) is most definitely late, I’m on the top rung of the ladder, my mom is trying to get out the door to make it to tennis somewhat on time and both my little boys are being pushed around the store in a Trader Joe’s shopping cart. Hashtag family business. But behind the meticulously curated and merchandised store front is a long history of furniture sellers, a strong belief in the shop itself and a yearning to make the world a little bit better. It’s the story behind the store…

I will do my best to carve out the time to keep this ‘blog’ current but as we like to say, ‘there are truly not enough hours in the day’. Either way, I hope you get a kick out of it.
